Well-Bee-ing Tip of the Week: You Can’t Be in Two Places at Once!
We’ve all done it — accepted overlapping meeting invites, thinking we’ll somehow make it work.
But the truth is, you can’t be in two places at once (no matter how good your multitasking skills are!).
If two meetings clash, take a moment to assess which one is the higher priority or where your input is most valuable. For the other meeting, you have a few options:
Delegate someone who can represent you and provide a quick summary afterward.
Send an apology and request the meeting minutes or key notes to be shared.
Once you’ve done that, don’t forget the final step — book time in your diary for the next day to actually read those minutes. If you don’t schedule it, it’s likely to slip through the cracks or get squeezed into an already packed day.
These small organisational habits might seem simple, but they make a huge difference in creating a structured, streamlined workday with less chaos and more clarity.
Remember: managing your time isn’t about doing more — it’s about doing what matters most, with presence and purpose.
